WARRADAR

Privacy

WarRadar has no accounts and asks for no personal information. This page lists everything the site stores or loads.

What WarRadar itself stores

  • Visit counts. We count page views, clicks on share buttons and whether ad slots filled. A visitor is counted as a one-way hash of the day, IP address and browser name, which cannot be turned back into an IP and changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days. We also keep the country (from the IP, not stored) and whether the device is a phone. No cookie is used for this.
  • Your choices, on your device. The language you pick is kept in a cookie (wr_lang) and in your browser's local storage, together with alert and poll settings. They never leave your device except the language cookie, which tells the server which language to show.
  • Server logs. Our hosting providers (Vercel and Render) keep standard request logs, including IP addresses, for a short time for security and debugging.

Third parties that load on the site

  • Advertising (Adsterra). Ads pay for the site. The ad network may set its own cookies and use your IP address and browser details to choose and count ads, under its own privacy policy.
  • Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate, cookieless page statistics.
  • Mapbox draws the map; Google Fonts and flagcdn serve fonts and flag images.
  • Videos and live TV play from their original hosts (for example YouTube, Telegram or a broadcaster's stream), which receive your request like any embedded player.

Your choices

Blocking third-party cookies in your browser, or using a content blocker, stops ad cookies; the map and news keep working. Clearing your browser's site data removes the language and alert settings.
